Pricebook Coordinator
Description We are offering a contract for a Pricebook Coordinator role in the Oil & Gas industry, based in Long Beach, California. As a Pricebook Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for managing price changes and entries, executing promotional discounts, and liaising with external vendors to ensure accurate item profiles and costs. Responsibilities: • Manage and implement pricebook entries and changes efficiently, ensuring accuracy at store level. • Collaborate with the Marketing department to maintain pricebook items and ensure adherence to pricebook policies and procedures. • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate item profiles and costs. • Execute promotional discounts to support sales and marketing strategies. • Handle user-related pricebook inquiries, research, and troubleshoot as necessary. • Oversee the preparation, prioritization, and entry of cost and retail data files into software systems, verifying accuracy. • Analyze reports from multiple sources, evaluate them and provide recommendations. • Maintain data integrity by following data program techniques and procedures. • Support various departmental needs within the organization through effective communication. • Manage vendor rebate invoicing by reviewing manufacturer contracts. • Assist in creating pricebooks for new sites. • Process electronically delivered cost updates from wholesalers. • Handle payment deductions for vendors that overcharge store invoices. • Analyze scan data reporting and submit to tobacco manufacturers in a timely manner. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the oil & gas industry or a related field • Proficiency in account reconciliation is required • Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is necessary • Must possess skills in billing and invoice processing • Data entry skills are essential • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must • Experience in pricing, pricing analysis, and managing pricing changes is necessary • Knowledge of retail pricing, product pricing, and pricing structure is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
