Pricing Advisor
Position Summary

As an experienced Pricing Advisor you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

Build client relationships and be a trusted strategic advisor on how to price menu itemsUnderstand the methodologies used for price optimization and translate model outputs into insights that clients can understand and applyUnderstand the client’s strategy and goals, dissect previous store performance, synthesize past and future local market events to adjust pricing recommendations for the clientProactively look out for market trends and activities that may impact pricing and provide timely advice to clientsTranslate client inquiries into analytics requirementsPeriodically visit clients and regional meetings to provide additional pricing supportPresent pricing trends during regional client meetings (2-3x per year)Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

The Team 

Our Digital Foundry & Operations works with the Customer & Marketing group to bring a flexible capability and fluid capacity model to the delivery of small technology projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
3+ years in client services, pricing, revenue management and/or pricing advisoryAble to demonstrate ability to be a strategic thinking who is proactive in providing valuable insightsStrong leadership skills and experience working with executive level clientsExcellent written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical capabilities with experience in working with SQL and TableauExperience working with analytical teams and translating outputs into actionable insights for clientsLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveRole is remote

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 to $115,000. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
