Job Summary and Responsibilities Acentra seeks a Pricing Analyst, Specialist to join our growing team. **Position is remote, however preferred candidates to be located in/or near Mclean, VA or Harrisburg, PA for a hybrid (W@H and Office) position for corporate meetings etc.*** Job Summary: The Pricing Analyst Specialist is responsible for offering and deal pricing (to include strategy), estimating, costing and financial modelling for bid and proposals for Federal, State, and Commercial customers. Job Responsibilities: Serve as the primary lead for estimating, costing, and pricing, responsible for interpreting and effectively communicating pricing-related requirements outlined in Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Develop and present cost and pricing data, create pricing proposals, analyze cost structures, and provide strategic pricing recommendations to management. Lead and coordinate pricing, estimating, and cost proposal inputs from various departments. Review customer requests, statements of work, and other proposal documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop detailed cost estimates and engage with vendors and subcontractors as needed. Collaborate with functional teams to document Basis of Estimates (BOEs), methodology, and supporting justifications for proposed costs. Conduct cost and price analysis, profitability analysis, and risk assessment to support pricing decisions. Develop complex pricing strategies and perform risk and cash flow analysis to optimize pricing structures. Proactively develop awareness and stay up to date on Acentra competitors, solutions, bidding practices and pricing. Continuously enhance company estimating, costing, and pricing templates, models, and processes by evaluating alternative strategies and conducting "what-if" scenario analyses. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all estimates, cost assumptions, and pricing methodologies to ensure transparency and compliance. Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules. Qualifications Required Qualifications/Experience: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial modelling and pricing strategy for bids and proposals. A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in pricing government/public sector contracts for services and technology with Federal, State and Commercial clients. A minimum of 3+ years of experience leading the estimation and costing process for large-scale ($30M+) proposals, collaborating with delivery SMEs and solution architects to develop precise, competitive, and strategically aligned operational models. Experience with pricing multiple contract types to include but not limited to cost plus, fixed price, PEPM, PMPM, unit based, SaaS, and time & materials. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to travel as needed up to 10%. Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Ability to resolve moderately complex contracts and/or pricing issues. Ability to communicate with various levels of staff, explaining complex pricing issues in an easy-to-understand format. Experience in creating Software as a Service pricing for new products. An in-depth understanding of Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Strong writing, analytical, mathematical, and presentation skills. Why us?
