Job Title: Pricing Analyst
Job Location: McLean, Virginia or Tampa, FL
Job Responsibilities:Trace Systems is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team to provide proposal pricing support. This position will be located in either McLean, VA or Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will be a team player, but also an independent contributor, will be proactive, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail oriented.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Experience in all contract types (T&M, Cost-plus, Firm Fixed Price)Analyze and develop estimates of labor, material, equipment, production, and other direct costs against actual expenses, historical data, or price-to-win data.Assist pricing lead with pricing volume development in response to RFPAttend, assist, and contribute during proposal meetings with discussing requirements and internal strategyPresent summary analysis for company management as requiredEnsure accuracy and adherence to compliance by coordinating contracts, financial, technical and administrative resources to ensure approach responses to RFPs and addition information requests as neededAssist in the contract/pricing proposal preparations in response to Federal Government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Evaluation Notices (ENs) and financial analysis for various contract types
Analyze/interpret solicitations to ensure compliance of proposal requirements, internal organizational cost estimating requirements and compliance with FAR/DFAR regulations.Assist in the development of pricing strategies for existing and new business opportunities to include business case/profitability analysis that identify and mitigate any potential risks to the company.Conduct research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Conducts research and analysis of awarded contracts and other publicly available information on Federal opportunities and the Federal marketProvide pricing/data call direction to subcontractors on proposal teamsCreate or recommend the acquisition and/or the implementation of additional resources beneficial to the overall functionality of various pricing requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued: ClearableDue to the nature of the work and US Government required, US Citizenship is required.Position requires at least three (3) year of experience working in finance, cost analysis, pricing or related fieldMust possess business principles such as cost collection, analysis techniques, and proposal analysis
Proficiency with MS Office products, especially MS Excel is required. Must be comfortable developing large, complex spreadsheets using Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and show attention to detailMust have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environmentExperience using government provided cost templates as well as experience building complex cost models from scratch as requiredMust be able to work effectively under tight deadlinesMust be able to work some extended hours, weekends, or holidays to support proposal timelines Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (degrees in engineering or technical fields are also acceptable) Trace Systems
