2. Price Setting & Adjustments

Maintain and update price lists in collaboration with Category Managers. Run scenario analyses (e.g., “what-if” margin impact if we discount by X% in a certain region). Propose recommended price adjustments (up or down) based on cost or market shifts.

3. Discount Management

Track and review discount requests from Sales. Generate reports on discount usage, margin erosion, and competitor pricing signals.

4. Forecasting & Demand Analysis

Collaborate with the S&OP/Demand Planner to incorporate forecast data into pricing models. Identify potential margin risks by analyzing supply-demand trends.

5. Authority & Escalation

Authority: You’ll have the power to recommend immediate, data-driven price adjustments within a specific range.
