This position is a part of the EAME Merchandising team of the Global Machine Pricing organization. The Merchandising Team is responsible for managing the Machine Sales Variance provided to our dealers via our Sales Execution teams through Sales Support Programs and the Special Price Assistance Request (SPAR) process in order to achieve or exceed our business goals in Europe, Eurasia and Africa-Middle East territories via effective marketing tactics.

As Pricing Analyst, you will provide merchandising support for Caterpillar prime products, working closely with the Europe, Africa, Middle East and Eurasia (EAME) sales teams to guide the execution of differentiated pricing strategies that align with product and enterprise goals for revenue and profitability. You will be responsible for the analysis and processing of the different steps for SPAR analysis. You will coordinate and execute regional pricing strategies, working with internal partners in Industry and Product groups. 

What You Will Do:

Analyze and process SPAR requests from specific areas and dealers, working closely with industry field teams (GCI, GP, Mining, BCP).Support SPAR monitoring with Industry Teams.Provide SPAR forecasting, collaborating with the Strategic Merchandising team for the monthly forecast process.Perform merchandising innovation projects within the pricing area to support regional and product group decisions.Develop and review proposals for the EAME team, including sales history analysis, volume forecasts, competition, product availability, value premiums, and related factors.Execute Focus programs by guiding sales teams, checking approval levels, receiving approvals, and processing programs in Caterpillar systems.Collaborate with Industry teams to monitor, evaluate, and train personnel on corporate practices, policies, tactics, and strategy.Develop and maintain internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley control documentation, and validate these controls.Provide input to the monthly forecast process regarding year-end estimation of SV spend.

What You Have:

Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Effective Communication; Fluent in English and French.

Expertise in data analytics and data visualization tools (Power BI)

Additional Information: 

Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Geneva OfficeA valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
