Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry in Valencia, California, United States for a Bid Lead I. The role involves analyzing, managing, and orchestrating the successful implementation of new and ongoing bids by collaborating with various departments and providing analytical and administrative support. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process incoming bids in collaboration with sales, business development, purchasing, pricing & sourcing, quality, and other departments to facilitate the RFQ process from inception to completion. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain all bid-related worksheets. • Keep track of and update metric data for all bids at each stage. • Organize kick-off or internal meetings with various departments as required. • Provide timely and accurate responses by working closely with various departments. • Oversee and keep track of bid timeline and target due dates. • Deliver bid updates and/or data metrics reporting. • Liaise with the Business Development Team on specifics of targeted bids. • Develop and utilize Excel worksheets employing formulas, functions, and pivot tables. • Participate in weekly team meetings and conduct special projects as assigned. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role. • Proficiency in data mining techniques is required. • Strong customer service skills are essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Must have a strong background in analytics. • Familiarity with the RFQ process is necessary.
