Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst (Level 2/3) in our Pricing & estimating organization. The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Defense Systems Pricing & Estimating team tasked with providing guidance and support to proposal activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in Huntsville, AL; Mclean, VA; Orlando, FL, and Linthicum, MD.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Estimating labor costs of manufacturing and engineering based on request for proposal (RFP) data submitted by prospective customersCompiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications.Collecting cost data from functional representatives and subcontractorsPreparing cost reports and presenting results to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators and customer representativesSupporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process.Supporting Cost Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvement.Participating as a member of the contract negotiating team.Responsible for proposal submission artifacts and compliance to FAR/DFARS, RFP, and estimating system.Interacting with other functional areas (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics) to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlines.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications for a Pricing Analyst (Level 2) :

High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of related experienceBachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years of related experienceExtensive experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operationsAbility to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environmentProficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft ExcelAbility to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Pricing Analyst (Level 3) :

High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of related experienceBachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related experienceExtensive experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operationsAbility to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environmentProficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft ExcelAbility to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of material pricing techniquesStrong presentation skillsAbility to create Microsoft Excel macrosProPricer experienceAerospace/defense industry and business management experienceKnowledge of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)Active Government Secret ClearanceMust be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $110,900.00Salary Range 2: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
