Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector, Payload & Ground Systems Operating Unit, is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst - Level 2 or 3 to join us at our site in Aurora, CO. This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80 and will be onsite.
In this role, the selected candidate will play a key role in the organic and future growth of the business by managing proposal efforts from receipt of Request for Proposal (RFP) though contract award. Our Pricing Analyst is a key member of sole source, competitive sector and/or corporate priority win teams and will act as a key developer of winning bids.
The incumbent selected must be eligible and willing to obtain a DoD U.S. Government SCI Access clearance.
Job Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Plan and manage proposal effortsCompiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications, company policies, and Government regulationsCoordinates with contributors from cross-functional organizations to ensure quality proposals are submitted within customer deadlinesWorks closely with Program Management and Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier quotes comply with requirementsResearches and critically analyzes large volumes of data using spreadsheet and data mining skills to isolate and prioritize key dataWork with the proposal team to develop creative solutions to complex contractual issuesSummarizes and presents detailed proposal information in internal management reviews and customer fact-finding meetingsDevelops negotiation strategies and participates as a member of the contract negotiating teamBasic Qualifications:
Level 2: Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of proposal, pricing, supply chain or financial related experience - OR - Master's Degree Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of proposal, pricing, supply chain or financial related experience - OR - Master's Degree with 3+ years of stated experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordMust be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (SCI Access, Secret, Top-Secret, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other Government RegulationsExperience working with ProposalsProficiency in ProPricer or equivalent pricing systemExperience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) and analyzing BOE qualityExperience with advanced Excel functionsExperience conducting cost analysis and risk modelingUnderstanding of Earned Value ManagementExperience with parametric modelingCertified Estimating Professional (CEP)Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationActive U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $103,200.00Salary Range 2: $84,600.00 - $127,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
