Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated Pricing Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. This role is primarily involved in the retail industry, where you will be entrusted with the meticulous task of managing purchase order (PO) forms, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining customer compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately review and adjust Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) purchase order (PO) inventory orders
• Regularly update shared PO forms for warehouse scheduling and deliveries
• Ensure adherence to Must Arrive by Date regulations
• Manage communication of PO modifications to relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate with the warehouse to confirm invoice printing
• Add new items, item numbers, and vintages to the authorization list
• Oversee the maintenance of EDI item cross-references
• Validate UPC and cost details
• Carry out any additional duties as necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and Microsoft Outlook for efficient communication
• Prioritize tasks and plan activities effectively, ensuring strong follow-up and completion. Requirements • Proficiency in office functions and administrative tasks
• Experience in generating reports and presenting data
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation
• Ability to provide training and guidance to team members
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Compliance with company and industry regulations
• Experience in invoice processing and review
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented communication
• Understanding of pricing strategies and principles
• Coordination of deliveries and logistics
• Knowledge of video conferencing tools for remote meetings
• Ability to make necessary adjustments and corrections in pricing
• Prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Experience in authorizations and approvals
• Proficiency in working onsite and in remote settings
• Familiarity with using templates for streamlined work processes
• Excellent written communication skills for clear and effective correspondence
• Knowledge of EDI - Electronic Data Interchange for data transmission.
