Role Definition

Join the Global Machine Pricing (GMP) team as a Pricing Consultant with responsibility for coordinating the Machine Price Plan Process.  Guide GMP team members through the process of analyzing price environment indicators, gathering feedback from Product and Industry teams, gaining price change approvals from decision makers and announcing price changes to Caterpillar dealers.  Lead and/or contribute to other projects and system enhancements as opportunities arise

What You will Do

Coordinate Price Plan Team Members through global price changesSchedule and lead machine price plan team meetings and working sessionsDevelop price plan timeline and milestones to keep team on scheduleCreate central materials to be shared with decision makersCreate and coordinate the internal and external announcement processCollect business requirements for system Price Planning enhancementsWrite user stories and work with business partners to prioritize system enhancementsLead projects related to Price Plan process improvement

What You Have (Required Qualifications)

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Level Working Knowledge:Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
