Your Role
To support the development and implementation of pricing algorithms in live production environments, ensuring quality assurance, testing, and system enhancements. You will contribute to transformation projects, optimize pricing model design and deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve profitability and market share.

Success in this role requires strong communication and technical skills, a foundational understanding of actuarial principles, and relevant industry experience in technology solutions architecture, design, and integration. Familiarity with Radar, as well as XML/JSON, is preferred. Effective collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders, along with a proactive problem-solving approach, will be essential for driving successful pricing initiatives.

Your Responsibilities 

Design, build, and maintain a live rating engine on Radar Live platform based on Excel rating model from Product actuaries. Oversee the end-to-end rating flow from Radar pricing algorithm to deployment of rates in live production. Collaborate with actuaries to enhance the design of the Radar platform, focusing on optimizing data flow, governance, impact analysis modules, and reporting capabilities, as well as refining modelling techniques such as propensity models and Gradient Boosting Machines (GBMs). Design and execute an efficient end-to-end testing with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues identified. Support the implementation and delivery of IT development initiatives that directly impact pricing. Engage, communicate, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver pricing system enhancements. Showcase leadership skills by mentoring and guiding a team of 1-2 analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and development.
 

Your Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Actuarial, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent discipline.3-5 years of working experience in Insurance with strong understanding of pricing algorithm and application of underwriting rules, ideally with experience of managing rate/algorithm changes to live rating platforms.Hands-on experience in designing, developing, implementing, or maintaining pricing systems and strategies (Radar Live rating algorithm in particular) would be highly advantageous.Relevant industry experience in the architecture, design and integration of technology solutionsProficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.Solid programming skills and hands on experience with databases and SQL/Python.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.Ability to manage, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-moving environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
