This pivotal role, is the subject matter expert for Emerson’s Flow Controls business unit. As the Pricing Leader, you will lead the pricing function for our business unit, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and finance colleagues throughout the organization. Your role will ensure that our industry-leading products are appropriately priced to reflect their value for our valued customers. **As the Pricing Leader, you will:** + Develop and manage pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profit margins. + Lead periodic price changes across the portfolio, coordinating with product and sales teams to implement actions in the quote-to-order system. + Collaborate with functional leaders, continuously evaluating and enhancing processes, analytics, training, and technology stack + Play a vital role in improving our ability to measure price realization across the enterprise. + Conduct detailed analysis of competitor pricing behavior and economic trends, offering recommendations to the leadership team and providing metrics to support price actions. + Demonstrate a solid understanding of the value proposition of our products and services, ensuring appropriate pricing strategies are in place. **Required Education, Experience & Skills:** + Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or related field; relevant work experience will also be considered. MBA is a plus. + Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. + Proficiency with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools preferred. + Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship not provided). **Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:** + Strong organizational and administrative skills to effectively schedule, track, and analyze data for process refinement. + Outstanding ability to synthesize information and communicate complex concepts in a clear and influential manner. + Proven experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional teams. + Skilled in leading through influence and achieving results within a matrix organization. + Willingness to challenge the status quo and think creatively when approaching pricing analysis and decisions. + In-depth knowledge of pricing models is highly desirable.
