We are looking for an experienced and innovative Strategic Pricing Manager to increase our business's competitiveness and profitability. In this key role, you will work closely with the equipment pricing team to implement cohesive pricing strategies across the organization. Your expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis will be essential as you build, execute, and refine pricing strategies that enhance profitability and competitiveness in our aftermarket and remanufacturing businesses. 

Pricing Strategy:  

Develop and execute long-term pricing strategies for aftermarket and remanufacturing businesses that align with business goals, market conditions and competitive positioning. 

Collaborate with the equipment pricing team, product management, commercial and marketing departments to ensure cohesive and competitive pricing strategies across the business, fostering synergy and consistency.  

Work collaboratively to co-own the Marmon Foodservice Technologies pricing policy, continuously seeking and implementing improvements to ensure it remains competitive and effective. 

 

Pricing Analysis:  

Generate and analyze regular reports on pricing performance, including margin analysis, sales trends, and pricing impact on revenue, to identify opportunities for margin improvement and revenue optimization.  

Use PowerBI software to develop dashboards to monitor and track progress in real time. 

Lead the development of a customer lifetime value model that aligns with the total cost of ownership, analyzing how aftermarket parts and services contribute to the overall customer experience and long-term value. 

Partner with product management and insights teams to conduct ongoing market analysis to understand industry trends and competitor pricing, adjusting strategies as needed. 

Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to leadership team, product management, and commercial teams. 

 

Price Management: 

Drive efficiency in aftermarket pricing processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and utilizing pricing tools to streamline routine tasks.  

Maintain and update price lists, ensuring that they are accurate, competitive, and reflect the latest costs, value proposition and market conditions. 

Manage rebate and discount programs, ensuring they are applied correctly and aligned with business objectives. 

Address inquiries from customers and the sales team regarding pricing, discounts, and adjustments, providing clear and timely responses. 

 

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies 

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field. 

Master’s degree in business administration will be advantageous. 

Minimum of five years' experience as a pricing analyst in a similar industry. 

Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) software. 

In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis. 

Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share. 

Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments. 

Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing tools. 

Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders. 

Excellent analytical and communication skills. 

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Target Annualized Compensation: $110,000 - $134,000 (non bonus eligible
