Pricing & Marketplace Strategy & Planning Manager, Global Membership
We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Global Membership Program as the Pricing & Marketplace Strategy & Planning Manager. This individual will contribute to Membership’s Pricing and Marketplace Strategy, designing, building, and executing tactics that drive outcomes to promote user frequency, platform engagement, and retention. This role will require a mix of business insights, analytical problem solving, and the ability to work cross functionally to drive key tactics forward. The right candidate possesses a combination of strategic problem solving, analytical expertise, and ability to work and communicate with cross functional teams. They will develop a point of view on how to improve the Membership program, and be able to successfully communicate their vision and work with teams to achieve desired outcomes. \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- **Pricing** 1. Drive structural pricing strategy for the global business, identifying areas of opportunities to unlock growth 2. Design and develop a framework on Membership’s dynamic pricing strategy and how this fits in the broader consumer strategy 3. Develop key competitive insights and built competitive intelligence on Membership user pricing to drive recommendations for the program **Marketplace** 1. Develop the strategy around Membership marketplace levers and identify opportunities to improve the member experience 2. Project manage and global roll out of new marketplace levers 3. Design, support, and execute the roll-out strategy for new membership features globally **Strategy & Analytics:** 1. Build dashboards to monitor Pricing & Marketplace performance for Membership 2. Conduct rigorous quantitative analyses to determine where Membership is performing well and areas of opportunity \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. 2+ years of experience in a related field \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 1. Financial acumen - understands the importance of investments and different means of measuring return 2. SQL proficiency and experience with involved data analytics 3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 4. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 5. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. 6. High standards and a bias toward action. Effective team player 8. Experience with membership programs or in a competitive analysis role. For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$91,000 per year - USD$101,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
