Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $119,600.00 - $199,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Pricing Senior Manager plays a critical role by analyzing, developing and implementing pricing, packaging and monetization strategies for Cox Automotive.  This individual is curious, passionate and a problem solver. 

The Pricing Senior Manager is responsible for developing pricing strategies that can be implemented and maintained given market, technical, and/or process constraints. This position requires extracting relevant insights from raw data and conveying compelling narratives to executive audiences. 

In addition, this role is proactive in building strong relationships with boundary partners in Product, Sales, and Business Unit Leaders to align pricing thought leadership, strategy, and pricing management to drive revenue and EBITDA benefits to Cox Automotive.

What You’ll Do

Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate advanced analytical skills to diagnose organizational challenges, identify root causes, and propose viable solutions. Employ logic and intuition to interpret data, define the issue and recommend solutions. Analyze performance data to identify opportunities and articulate trends.Business Acumen: Provide strong knowledge and understanding of the business, products, marketplace dynamics, sales team structure, and tools/technology that enable the business to meet its revenue and profitability objectives.  Broadly understand micro and macro market trends, competitive insights and industry trends to enhance organizational performance.Statistical Analysis and Technical Skill: Knowledge and ability to use tools (Excel, Snowflake, Power BI) to perform statistical analysis and measurement.  Use statistical concepts such as variance, standard deviation and correlation to analyze, interpret and explain factors related to business operations and performance.  Determine and recommend specific actions the business should take around pricing, packaging and overall monetization. Consulting: Establish and maintain positive working relationships across functional groups in a matrixed organization. Partner with leaders in Sales, Finance, Product, Business Operations, Sales Ops and Marketing to develop executable pricing strategies aligned to the business unit’s go-to-market strategy.  Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate communication tools.Travel: 25%

Who You Are/Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 8 years of experience in related field.
