Job Summary: BRIEF SUMMARY Assists the buyer in maintaining local pricing. Develops and maintains a variety of retail statistical data utilized to ensure a competitive market. Prepares reports and participates in analysis or retail merchandise.

Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates and maintains local pricing files and UPC files for worldwide Exchanges. Develops retail markups prices as directed for items of retail merchandise in assigned department s classifications. - Oversees the work of the clerical support staff in all phases of the pricing function. Ensures the process is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner. Plans and schedules the flow of work within the work group. - Assists in reviewing and monitoring profits of resale activities and Distribution Centers for assigned departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. - Analyzes mechanized management reports to identify incorrect pricing markdowns etc. Takes necessary action to resolve discrepancies. Applies judgment and experience in making decisions. - Performs other related duties as assigned. - Works under the supervision of the Buyer. Establishes priorities and indicates the scope of assignments. Carries out responsibilities with a high degree of independence and exercises judgment and initiative in making decisions and commitments. Regular review is received only in non-routine matters or in connection with special projects which may be assigned. Is expected to carry out regular work independently and with limited review by supervisor.
