Job DescriptionWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
*Do you have a good head for business? Do you like data? What if we ask you to immerse yourself in our business, then map and recommend a pricing architecture that improves the way we do pricing? This is a highly visible and strategic role where you will work with some direction but will have the autonomy to develop robust ideas to overhaul the way we price.*
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This is a Lead Pricing Analyst role, part of the Pricing team that rolls up to the Finance Department.
In this role you are responsible to work with others on the team to set the pricing strategy for the various products that we sell. You will use a variety of data and analysis to determine a fair but competitive price that enables sales and profit. You will prepare reports, provide analysis, make recommendations, create and maintain business models, contribute to the annual budget and monthly forecasts, and support Allied leadership with financial guidance. Working with the pricing manager, you will lead specific planning and reporting activities, regularly meet with leadership, and contribute to senior level presentations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research: Analyze industry trends, competitor pricing, and previous sales data.Analyze: Conduct mathematical and impact analyses to understand customer habits and spending patterns.Set prices: Recommend product and customer price based on complex financial analysis.Communicate: Report findings and make recommendations to the pricing manager, the executive team and other stakeholders.Monitor: Tracking sales and determine when changes are required.Develop strategies: Develop deep understanding of the business and its’ customers and use as the basis develop appropriate strategies to enable sales and increase profits. Collaborate: With others on the pricing team, other internal stakeholders and externally with our customers.Supports assigned functional leadership, responding to reporting/analysis requests and resolving budget/forecast questions.
Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 8 years of related experience.OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong initiative, and excellent organizational and people skills to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Stellar attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment. A strong desire to drive results with a hands-on mentality to see projects to completion.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.Knowledge of SAP and Vendavo would be differentiators

Business mindsetMust have the ability to communicate and present effectively. Advanced aptitude in problem-solving.Strong leadership skills and initiative.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation:
This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $84,800-111,300 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
