Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a full-time Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse to join our experienced Northampton Family Medicine team in Northampton, MA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Baystate Health, Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) provide patient-centered care assisting with office visits, preparing exam rooms, taking patients medical history and performing health maintenance in the electronic medical record. Primary Care LPNs are responsible to functioning within the scope of practice dictated by the authority of the Massachusetts Board of Registration. They are responsible for administering and documenting medication and immunizations under provider order or protocol. Primary Care LPNs perform procedures independently as approved by the provider including EKG, vision and hearing screening, point of care testing and all competency validation or sign-off as required for equipment handling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED, required Licensed Practical Nurse in MA BLS CPR through American Heart Association Minimum of 2 years experience , preferably in a medical office settingSCHEDULE:
Full-time –8:30am-5:00pm Monday through FridayLOCATION:
