Internal Medicine and Family Practice Physicians are encouraged to consider an available full-time Primary Care Physician with Liberty Healthcare at the Hogan Regional Center in Hathorne, MA (Essex County). The Hogan Regional Center is an intermediate care facility which provides a wide array of services to adults who are living with physical and developmental disabilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: + Ensuring patients receive high quality primary care + Conducting medical histories and physicals + Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions – and providing preventive health care + Ordering laboratory and diagnostic services + Prescribing medications and monitoring efficacy + Making referrals to medical specialists and coordinating specialty care + Documenting patient health information and services provided + Providing health education to staff, patients, families and guardians + Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings + Collaborating with the Hogan Center’s Medical Director as well as Nurse Practitioners, Physician Specialists, Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, and other clinical professionals and ancillary staff You can expect a great work / personal life balance and the following: + Fixed pay with no billing requirements + Generous amount of time off for holidays, vacation, personal, CME and sick leave + Weekday schedule with daytime hours and limited after-hours on-call + Ample time to spend with your patients without productivity requirements You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts and have completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
