Position Summary:
Able to set-up and run one core primary machine platform type and operate (run) other platform type(s).
Able to troubleshoot problems on core primary machine platform type during both set-up and run.
Able to recognise and solve non-routine problems on core primary machine platform type.
Contributes to the achievement of department, plant and company objectives.
Performs all day-to-day tasks in the most cost-effective manner.
Ensures a quality product is processed according to schedule.
Adheres to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant.
Supports company operating plan along with Swagelok’s mission, vision and values
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute all duties in a safe and responsible manner.Meet set-up and run production performance targets.Perform quality control requirements using specified gauging and test equipment.Follow applicable standard work.Follow all applicable company procedures.Perform relevant preventative maintenance.Contribute continuous improvement ideas for processes and documentation e.g. standard work.Contribute safety observations.Enter all required data into manufacturing and quality management tools e.g. SAP.Follow the manufacturing schedule.Provide basic training on core primary machine platform type.Provide basic training on standard work and company procedures.Perform housekeeping duties relevant to the area.Take ownership of personal development.Provide clear and concise department, inter-department and shift handover communication, both written and verbal.

High School diploma or equivalent.Strong technical ability.A minimum of 2 years’ operating CNC or manual machines.Ability to read manufacturing drawings
Preferred:
Manufacturing experience. Basic computer software skills (e.g. Data Input).

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with applicable standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with applicable standards.Good vision: must be able to sustain effective visual inspection throughout a shift period.Manual handling: able to perform the manual handling requirements of the role.Have appropriate manual dexterity to be able to properly handle parts and inspection equipment.Ability to move around work center and within the plant through a shift period.
