As a Primary Support Professional - Non Residential, you will provide support, training, and oversight to clients receiving Independent Living Skills Development services. This includes assisting with daily living activities, accompanying clients to appointments and community activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. You will also be responsible for documenting progress, maintaining certifications, and attending meetings and training sessions.

· Provide support and training to clients in areas such as personal hygiene, money management, safety, wellness, household skills, meal preparation, and medication management· Accompany clients to medical appointments, recreational activities, church, and community resources· Document progress on goals and objectives as stated in the Individual Support Plan· Complete required documentation in Therap at the end of each shift· Follow Department of Mental Health Medication Administration Certification guidelines when administering medications· Maintain current certifications in CPR, Standard First Aid, and medication administration· Attend meetings and specialized training as directed· Ensure completed forms and needed paperwork are maintained in the client record· Train staff in the Individual Support Plan and oversee daily documentation and implementation of outcomes· Schedule staff or cover shifts for associates who are sick or must be absent from the work site· Assist the Program Coordinator in gathering monthly billing information· Perform other duties as defined by the Regional DirectorEducation, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age; must have a high school diploma or GED· One year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities or, in lieu of experience, must successfully complete training in the Missouri Quality Outcomes approved by the Division of DD regional officeAdditional Qualifications:
· Must have a reliable means of communication· Must possess skills to read and understand written materials· Must possess skills to write clearly and legibly· Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check· Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment· All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurancePhysical Requirements:
· ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body· Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift· Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of timeBrightli is on a Mission:
