Management of Risk
The jobholder will ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organizationThis will be achieved by consistently displaying the behaviors that form part of the HSBC Values and culture and adhering to HSBC risk policies and procedures, including notification and escalation of any concerns and taking required action in relation to points raised by audit and/or external regulatorsThe jobholder is responsible for managing and mitigating operational and conduct risks in their day to day operations. In executing these responsibilities, the Group has adopted risk management and internal control structures referred to as the 'Three Lines of Defense'. The job holder should understand their position within Three Lines of Defense and operate within operational risk policy, escalating in a timely manner where they are unsureObservation of Internal Controls
The jobholder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulatorsFor this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,000.00 and $150,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
This is a front office certified role. The candidate will ideally already hold the necessary qualifications, and if not, would be expected to pass the relevant exams within the allotted timeframesThe ideal candidate will have current Prime Brokerage experience, preferably within a front office Client Transition role, and an understanding of the hedge fund landscapeCandidates are expected to be highly organized with excellent communication skills, demonstrate an ability to work independently to deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast moving environmentRole requires a detail oriented, process driven approach and ability to co-ordinate and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLicenses 7, 63 SIE are requiredIn compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.
