We are looking for a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support multiple Cybersecurity, Training and Services (CTS) programs. Located in Annapolis Junction, MD, the CPSO will manage the security of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs. Special Programs Security is looking for a self-starter who is interested in working in a fast paced environment. This role encompasses a variety of duties and responsibilities to include daily communication with government customers, program management, internal customers, sub-contractors and security counterparts; handling of personnel security clearance life cycle; maintain NISPOM and ICD compliance of multiple Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for classified areas and programs; support business growth by assisting with front end of the business activities; conduct security briefings and general security education and awareness and other job duties as required. The CPSO role has a direct impact on customer mission and our success.
Additional Duties to Include:
•Experience supporting DoD and IC contracts including reviewing and processing DD254s, Co-Utilization agreements and managing the eCPRL life cycle.
•Personnel Security – experience submitting clearance packages, clearance processing through life cycle, terminations, badge renewals, personnel reporting requirements, program and access level briefings, maintain accurate clearance information in various databases.
•SCIF management – conduct annual self-inspections, maintain proper documentation to include SCIF accreditation and SOPs, handle access control, process visit certifications, and facilitate customer inspections.
•conduct accountability and reconciliation audits for COMSEC; functions as Alt COMSEC Custodian
•Front End of the Business (FEOTB) – general proposal operations security support
Required Skills:
•At least 5 years previous security experience supporting Intelligence Community.
•US Citizenship with current Top Secret SCI Clearance with a Full Scope polygraph
•Knowledgeable of SCI Security requirements, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and applicable customer security directives
•Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal communications and maintain a strict attention to detail
•Ability to prioritize and organize workload in fast paced environment
•Ability to build rapport, interact professionally, and foster a cooperative work environment with a diverse population of people
•Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required Education (including Major):
A related university degree with 5 years experience. Thirteen years of directly related experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
