159 Solutions was acquired by IQVIA in 2018, and is now part of IQVIA's Real World Solutions - Emerging BioPharma (EBP) organization. Our consulting team is focused on supporting Emerging BioPharma clients with their commercial analytics and launch readiness needs across therapeutic areas.
We are a rapidly growing division within IQVIA with a sustained track record of exceeding set goals through subject matter expertise and deep knowledge of secondary data assets and analytical methods.
The team currently has about 200 team members across the US and Pune, India in supporting clients across all practice areas in the Commercial Operations organization. Job Description:
The Principal will play a critical role in our team's continued growth and expansion. Some of the key responsibilities for the qualified candidate will include:
Leverage pre-existing relationships and network to Identify, establish, and expand business engagementsAct as an ambassador to the organization, in contributing to the enhanced awareness of 159 Solutions & IQVIA through speaking engagements, white papers, and company presentationsInterface with leaders within IQVIA’s Emerging BioPharma team to further drive growth within the Emerging BioPharma segmentServe as the primary owner of client engagements to ensure deliverable quality, client satisfaction, and project management (scope, revenue, and profitability)Provide subject matter expertise and thought partnership to clients in establishing credibility and adding value to stakeholdersSupport business development opportunities and drive proposal and RFP processes with new clientsTake an active role in internal initiatives and be an active member of the leadership team in supporting administrative, operational, and strategic business needsMentor, coach, and develop team members for continued growth and success within the organizationEnsure effective and efficient collaboration and communication between onshore and offshore team membersDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex analyses into relevant and actionable client insights and deliverablesAct as a role model and represent 159 and IQVIAs values in establishing a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and innovationAssist in the 159 Solutions & Emerging Biopharma Solutions recruitment effortsQualifications:
Degree in engineering, statistics, math, economics or other quantitative fields; Masters / MBA preferredMinimum Experience Requirement: 8-10 years of experience in management consulting, data analytics or similar roles in biopharma required.Track record of selling, managing, and delivering client projectsExperience in hiring and building delivery teamsDemonstrated experience and success in coaching and guiding teams through projects of significant size and scopeSolid understanding of healthcare data, analytical methods, and Commercial practice areas in biopharmaStrong analytical and presentations skills with expectation to act as an adviser and thought partner to clientsExceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skillsIndependent and proactive with strong professional maturity to make the right decisions for clients and team membersIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $198,500.00 - $385,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
