The Transportation organization is in need of a Principal Program Manager within our Inbound organization. The Principal, Inbound Transportation is motivated, results-oriented, and committed to delivering prioritized Supply Chain / Transportation capabilities in support of our mission to serve existing and future customers at the highest level possible. This position is responsible for owning key initiatives aimed at optimizing the Inbound Transportation flow, and doing so with a high level of communication, collaboration, and attention to detail. 

 

A day in the life… 

Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives, thought leadership, policies, and programs that reduce transportation costs, while optimizing service, quality, and working capital 

Serve as an Individual Contributor and SME on transportation optimization opportunities, while partnering across the organization to achieve established goals 

Own prioritized transportation initiatives that fall outside of day-to-day operations, yet require dedicated support to evolve the transportation network 

Partner with Supply Chain Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Merchandising, and Inventory teams to drive Transportation solutions with a cross-functional lens in mind 

Consider financial, operational, and performance metrics as key measures of success 

Leverage data / analytics to make sound decisions on scope, timing, and overall implementation process 

Prepare and communicate updates, performance, and results to leadership team 

 

You own this if you have… 

Working knowledge and/or implementation of Transportation Management / Visibility Systems 

10+ years’ work experience in a transportation/supply chain environment 

Advanced Excel and/or Tableau skills, with an ability to manipulate large quantities of data. 

4-year degree in Supply Chain/Transportation preferred 

Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in formulating strategy and implementing those strategies.. 

Experience driving complex multi-stakeholder processes and cross-functional teams to desired results while managing risk. 

Experience leading and executing large-scale multi-year transformation efforts. 

Experience leveraging data to inform and influence executive decision-making 

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills 

PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications. 

Ability to travel up to 10% annually

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $126,500 - $210,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
