Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Leader of Market-Focused Product Managers to drive the development and implementation of market strategies specifically within the retail and marketing industries. This role is crucial in identifying market opportunities, aligning our offerings with customer needs, and helping to shape our go-to-market (GTM) strategies to support growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Strategy DevelopmentMarket Definition: Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for assigned retail and marketing segments, focusing on identifying market needs and ensuring product alignment.Opportunity Identification: Analyze retail trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities within the industry.Financial Analysis: Support business plans and strategies with ROI analysis and financial assessments tailored to the retail and marketing sectors.Cross-Functional CollaborationTeam Alignment: Collaborate with product management, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive efforts and successful product launches in the retail market.Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for all market-related inquiries within the retail and marketing industries, facilitating effective communication across departments.Performance TrackingProduct Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of products and services within retail segments, making necessary adjustments based on data and market feedback.Customer EngagementStakeholder Engagement: Engage with key retail customers and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their evolving needs.Customer Advocacy: Represent customer requirements within the organization to influence product development and enhance retail offerings.Team LeadershipMentorship: Mentor and guide team members involved in market activities within the retail sector, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Training and Development: Lead training sessions for sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and messaging specific to retail and marketing.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in market/segment management, product management, or product marketing within the retail and marketing industries.Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in retail, ideally within a matrixed environment.Strong analytical skills with experience in market research tools specific to retail trends.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams in a dynamic retail environment.

Annual Pay Range:

110,500 - 160,000 USD
