We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution for one of the areas in our Merchandising Pricing systems. As a key leader in the product organization, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring they meet business objectives, deliver customer value, and align with broader company goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, merchandising, and operations, to build scalable, innovative, and data-driven solutions that optimize pricing strategies, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities related to pricing, promotions, and markdowns, and translate them into innovative product solutions.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure the product remains competitive and cutting-edge.Product Development:Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, including market research, customer interviews, requirement gathering, and solution design.Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of product initiatives, providing clear priorities and maintaining a strong focus on outcomes.Define detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for features and initiatives.Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with merchandising, pricing, and operations teams to understand their needs and ensure the product meets these requirements.Serve as the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring product solutions align with user needs and business goals.Performance & Reporting:Define KPIs to measure the success of initiatives and monitor performance on an ongoing basis.Analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential optimization opportunities, providing recommendations to drive results.Communicate product performance and insights to leadership and key stakeholders regularly.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
