Job description:

Looking for candidates having excellent communication and leadership skills, rich experience in test automation using multiple tools, expertise in developing automation frameworks, creating automation strategies, working on POCs and delivering other Automated Testing capabilities.

Key duties:

· Responsible for defining Test Automation Strategies in major program initiatives

· Test planning and guiding resources on best Automation policies

· Co-ordination for Test environment and test data utilization as required for Test Automation

· Ensure Test artifacts are consistent and of the best quality. Conducting reviews of Automated Test artifacts to suggest improvements.

· Ensuring progress of test automation development activities as per plan, adhering to milestones and meeting SLAs.

· Investigate and diagnose problems; propose and execute solutions.

· Provide leadership and direction to teams (contractors).

· Provide documentation of Automation Architecture and best practices

· Contribution towards test automation practice by conducting training sessions, developing reusable assets, conducting interviews, working on POCs.

Experience, skills and qualifications:

· B. Tech. (Computer / IT), MBA preferred.

· 10-15+ year experience out of which at least 8-10 years on test automation; preferably 3 years in Architecture role.

· Experience of working with large-scale and complex programs, DevOps, CI/CD, continuous testing environment.

· Excellent understanding of the Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional and Integration Testing.

· Knowledge of the different life cycle development models and methodologies used to develop large software intensive platforms.

· Ability to understand existing Test Processes and Plans and identify improvements and efficiencies.

· Experience of creating Test artifacts based on requirements and design documents.

· Experience with virtualized products/services/solutions.

· Expertise on multiple automation tools like Selenium, TestComplete, UiPath, AccelQ, UFT.
