Bing Multimedia team at Microsoft AI is responsible for all aspects of image and video related system, data and ML, and experience includes image search, video search, visual search, Bing image creator (generative AI tool), Bing SERP image and video enrichment including image/video answers, entity image/video, algo rich caption image etc. We own E2E stack from index to ranking to experience, and work closely with platform team and other Bing team to deliver delightful and quality media experience to user across Bing, and drive monetization and revenue.

We are looking for a Principal Applied Scientist and technical leader who will work directly under VP of Bing Multimedia, and excited about defining and executing AI technical roadmap to redefine next generation of media search system in the LLM era, and make Bing the best place to search, consumes and create media content.
