TITLE: Principal Architect I
DUTIES: Provide technical direction to team responsible for developing tools and solutions for billing integration activities which encompass several projects spanning across various department including biller, ordering, provisioning, field operations, and customer experience. Collaborate with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align design and development plans, and ensure effective integration among application systems, information systems, and infrastructure. Analyze key business requirements received and meet with impacted teams across board along with enterprise architecture to create high level solution design. Participate in intake meetings to review the new requirements received and provide guidance on solution approach. Attend daily scrum calls to review requirements and project updates. Analyze and create solutions design for new requirements to facilitate Business Analyst and Developers in the development of efficient detailed design and code. Utilize Java to develop enterprise level applications to support business growth. Design REST API based on specific business requirements to support and solve ordering integration business requirements. Transition existing Java monolithic code to cloud native REST API leveraging platforms such as Camunda. Design complex BPMN workflow and DMN tables to create efficient solutions as per business requirements. Meet with business stakeholders to analyze the requirements, participate in brainstorming sessions to create new solutions. Review service detailed designs, code, and provide feedback to the team. Analyze production issues by leveraging Splunk to review logs and identify the issues. Provide feedback to development teams on quick fix of the production issues identified. Manage and mentor new employees. Utilize databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL. Utilize SDLC methodology including Agile, Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall to determine workflows. Work with billing systems including Telecommunications and Cable domains. Utilize billing systems including CSG and ICOMS. Utilize Splunk to analyze production issues by reviewing logs and identifying issues.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. 8 years of experience: utilizing databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL; and utilizing SDLC methodology including Agile, Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall to determine workflows. 7 years of experience: utilizing development languages including Java or J2EE; and working with billing systems including Telecommunications and Cable domains. 5 years of experience: utilizing billing systems including CSG and ICOMS; and utilizing Splunk to analyze production issues by reviewing logs and identifying issues. 3 years of experience utilizing Camunda 7 or 8, BMPN 2.0, or DMN.
A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available
SALARY: $117,000- $178,600 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
