Principal Associate, Data Loss Prevention Engineer (CASB)
11 West 19th Street (22008), United States of America, New York, New York Principal Associate, Data Loss Prevention Engineer (CASB) As a member of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) engineering team, you will play a key role on a team of cyber technicians and engineers to create, implement, and maintain DLP Controls using SaaS and IaaS based solutions to reduce risk and enforce Capital One's Information Security Policy and Standards. **Responsibilities** + Help deliver on DLP program objectives, implement DLP controls, define standards and policies to protect Capital One + Assess, report on, and make recommendations regarding current and proposed architectures, strategies, and systems in the DLP space + Help develop secure system solutions to meet DLP program requirements + Analyze SaaS productivity tool workflows and design CASB controls + Create and maintain documentation related to DLP solutions; this may include conceptual, logical, and physical diagrams; new environment design documents; procedural documents; job aids; write ups on technical capabilities and solution configurations; etc. + Following up and working with internal IT teams to ensure solutions are built, deployed, and modified as necessary according to the projects + Provide subject matter expertise to management, business areas, and IT Teams as well as implement appropriate data loss prevention security controls and monitoring + Participate in various DLP audit, control testing and other processes **Basic Qualifications:** + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification + At least 3 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Technology + At least 1 year of experience working with a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) + At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree + 1+ years of experience with Agile processes, JIRA stories and reports + 1+ years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD + 1+ years of experience in software development + One of the following professional certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISM, CISSP, CRISC or CISA _At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization)._ The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $165,100 - $188,500 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $153,900 - $175,700 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Technical Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
