Job Description
Principal Statistician - Staff Scientist, Biostatistics Projects
Serve as the statistical leader in the cross-functional development team for one compound/indication. Provide statistical expertise to the development strategy, decision making, and interpretation of data generated through the clinical development program. Embrace excellence and innovation among quantitative methods. Collaborate closely with program partners and stakeholders to deliver on-time statistical deliverables for all clinical trials and/or HA submissions of one compound/indication. Report to a disease area team leader within the Biostatistics and Statistical Modelling organization. Carry out functional responsibilities in accordance with applicable company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Hard SkillsMaster or doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics or related field with a minimum of 6 years experienceExpertise in drug development in a regulatory environmentAdvanced knowledge of biostatistics and its application to clinical trialsExperience in clinical trial design and scenario-planningExtensive experience in the Pharma or Biotech environmentAbility to plan, supervise, implement, and monitor statistical processes for multiple clinical trialsExpertise in Bayesian statisticsProficient in statistical software (SAS and/or R)Soft SkillsAble to collaborate with program partners and stakeholdersClearly explain complex statistical concepts in written and spoken EnglishTeam-player with a focused attitudeAble to work autonomously as part of a cross-disciplinary team in a dynamic environmentJob Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Waltham, Massachusetts and some days remote.
