In this role you will work as part of a Product Development Agile team to create and document design alternatives to satisfy user, business, statutory and system requirements.  You’ll partner with Product Owners to present alternatives to users to drive design decisions and gain consensus.  As a member of the Analysis team, you’ll be responsible for ownership of one or more projects where you’ll elicit and document high level requirements and then create impact analyses, user stories and detailed functional specifications.  In addition to interfacing with internal Developers and external partners, you’ll also be asked to provide overviews to our service and production support organizations, conduct demos and participate in stakeholder reviews, and eventually assume the role of post-release Subject Matter Expert.

We are looking for an out-of-the-box thinker who desires to try new things and has a passion for impact. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in scope management and requirements elicitation for enterprise payroll and HCM systems. They will have strong analytical skills and proven technical aptitude and won’t be daunted by tight deadlines and aggressive release schedules. You must also be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve. Your prior experience as a business systems analyst who has partnered in developing enterprise-level solutions in an Agile environment will set you up for success. To thrive in this role, you will need to have a business/systems analysis or technology background with 8 or more years of experience in relevant or similar roles.

Bonus points for:

Direct experience (designer or user) with payroll and HCM systems. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification. Comfort with data and analytics, having both quantitative and qualitative skills. Understanding of US and Canadian payroll statutory and compliance norms.

Analyze and Solve Complex Problems: You’ll use analytical thinking and system/user knowledge to interpret business and compliance issues, recommend best practices, and identify, document and communicate innovative solutions. Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders across products and partners to align on a common set of goals and ensure everyone is heard. You’ll also serve as a strong system advocate, regularly working alongside development, engineering, and business teams as you foster a “1ADP” attitude. Teams: You'll work closely with Major and National Accounts Business Partners as well as development and test teams in the US, Canada, Brazil and India – all the while displaying a high degree of collaboration and accountability. Grace Under Pressure: You thrive in a fast-moving, agile environment and are comfortable managing competing priorities and rallying the team to change direction, as necessary.
