Responsible for the execution of specific aspects of Supply chain Management including expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting of major procurement packages/subcontracts. Clear understanding of client head contracts requirements including Wood responsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated into project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures, terms & conditions. Has working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, interfaces with Wood legal/commercial experts and can initiate / discuss adaptations in order to reach a commercial agreement under guidance of Supply chain Manager. Regularly reports progress of all procurement activities for which they are responsible. Ensures direct reports updates reports/systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project management. Responsible for the supervision and guidance of directly reporting Buyer/Senior Buyer.
