Principal Chemist

Ecolab is seeking a highly capable Principal Chemist with expertise in chromatography to join our Global Analytical and Microbiological Services team. The successful candidate will utilize advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, IC) to provide solutions and support to Ecolab’s product development, regulatory, technical service, and manufacturing teams globally.

What You Will Do:

Collaborate with research scientists and business partners on development of new products and solutions for our customers.

Develop new methods or apply existing methods to solve problems to benefit our internal and external customers.

Provide analytical testing support focusing primarily on chromatography techniques including GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS, and Ion Chromatography (IC).

Interpret experimental data and communicate results to peers, customers, and project teams in written reports and oral presentations.

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with Analytical experience or

Masters degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 3 years Analytical experience or

Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 5 years Analytical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with standard chromatographic techniques and method development (GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS, IC)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
