We are expanding our team to further advance our C-level relationships with one of Amazon Ads’ top clients. Therefore, we are looking for a Principal Account Executive to lead the relationship for one of our largest Consumer Electronics advertisers. The Principal Account Executive will work directly with Marketing, Media VPs and their respective teams, brand and performance teams, as well as their agency leads to develop joint business plans and drive inclusion of Amazon Ads inclusion in their brands’ media planning, interface with programmatic and ad tech teams, and help solve clients’ marketing and media challenges with the breadth of our analytics and insights offering. This role will require business travel to client offices across the US. You will be working with internal partner teams in AdTech, Measurement, and Product across Amazon to provide proactive business solutions for clients.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive account revenue and further develop relationships with C-level client and agency contacts
• Partner with cross-locale AEs to support the development and management of the Global JBP across key workstreams and annual spend commitment
• Continue improving sales processes, templates and tools to drive consistency and transparency for client leads
• Interface with other Amazon orgs beyond Ads (e.g. Stores, AWS, Prime Video) to support broader client initiatives.
• This role currently requires working from your assigned office when not meeting with clients.

Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years of B2B sales experience
• 10+ years of digital ad sales as an individual contributor selling performances based advertising or similar offering experience
• Experience managing internal and external relationships
• Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience presenting to SVP and C-Level
• Experience growing a product to maturity through collaboration with Product teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
