Principal Commercial Real Estate Origination Specialist

About this role:

The role of the Principal Commercial Real Estate Origination Specialist/ Managing Director will originate, evaluate and structure new financing opportunities to generate profitable CRE lending business as well as managing new and existing client relationships. There should be a focus on sourcing opportunities, growing the business, and deepening relationships with our existing clients and acting as strategic advisors to our clients and gatekeepers focusing on the best risk-adjusted opportunities. They will be responsible for delivering all of Wells Fargo to our clients working with a global mindset.

In this role, you will:

Sell WF, CIB and CRE suite of products to clients that they coverCollaborate with WF/CIB/CRE product partners to identify opportunities to grow wallet share with existing clientsApply deep financial or credit subject matter expertise to advise their clients / customers regarding appropriate strategies and solutions for complex financial opportunities or challengesLeverage knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition of recommended solutions and address risks or concernsLeverage in-depth business knowledge to critically evaluate opportunities and develop proposals / deals reflecting Wells Fargo’s capacity and capability to provide relevant servicesManage highly complex proposal / deal development and alignment across involved parties; set pricing levels and support negotiationsProvide guidance to others on effective proposal or deal development approaches and pricing for various deal and client / customer types; identify opportunities for improved deal structuring; provide input to new or uncommon deal types to enhance business value and sustain client / customer relationshipsAct as a mentor and coach to staff in CRECollaborate with peersPursue capital markets growth with clients by partnering with other Commercial Real Estate teams and various Corporate & Investment Banking coverage and product groups including but not limited to CMBS, Agency, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Loan Syndications and Mergers & Acquisitions

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of Commercial Real Estate Origination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Ability to originate, structure and underwrite CRE transactions with proven track record Structured finance and capital markets backgroundStrong client relationships with good knowledge of financial sponsor structuresProven track record in the execution and negotiation of legal documentationExperience of monitoring and managing complex real estate finance transactionsStrong cash flow, credit analysis and modelling skillAbility to work across functions and work collaboratively with the coverage teamsExcellent Communication Skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
