IBCS seeks to fill the Software/Systems Integrator position with an individual experienced in integrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems and networked Systems of Systems in a Tactical and Lab environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of RHEL and be well-versed in configuring and optimizing Linux Operating Systems. They will provide day-to-day operating system, software, and infrastructure integration support, software test support, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities will include integrating and maintaining RHEL systems and network configurations with GOTS/COTS products.
 

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience; Master’s degree and 3 years of experience or additional years in lieu of a degreeRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration experienceStrong software, system, and network troubleshooting skillsAbility to script or work at the command line level within RHEL and Windows-based systems (Bash, PowerCLI, Powershell, or Python)Basic understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile/DevOps environmentBasic understanding of networking to include subnets, routing, VLANs, etc.Current DoD Secret Security ClearanceCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (i.e., Security+, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of routing/switching and experience debugging network-oriented applicationsExperience with automation tools such as AnsibleAdministration experience with VMware vSphere 7.x or higherExperience integrating COTS, GOTS and custom software in a security constrained environmentWorking knowledge of Linux systems in a Windows Domain environmentExperience with Air & Missile Defense Command and Control programs such as IBCS, PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC or THAAD or any sensor/weapon system, Link 16 experienceExperience with implementing STIGs and tracking non-compliance on Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) Previous experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, etc.)Ability to generate procedures that test functionalityAdditional Operating System Environment Certification i.e., (MCSA, MCSE, Linux+, RHCSA, Net+, CCNA, VMware Certified, etc.)

Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $158,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
