Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, SAP SD
Responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expertise in SAP SD module.
• Needs to have a good knowledge of SD Pricing.
• SAP knowledge in Data Object, master data and archiving.
• Understand analytical business requirement to define data source mapping/ logic in SAP.
• Have extensively worked on the HANA upgradation and Rollouts and complex enhancements.
• In depth understanding on Sales Distribution Process, Contract management, Pricing concepts, OTC, Partner Determination, Text Management, Pricing, Taxes, Billing, Credit Management, Back Orders, and Master Data Management (MDM).
• In-depth experience in SAP SD Customizing, Order to Cash Flow Integration with other modules.
• Support functional analyst in finalizing functional specifications, assess source information in SAP, identify tables and define logic to fulfil the functional requirements.
• Support in analytics – data profiling, testing of business logic, testing of data quality in project data lake, testing of final analytics solution against actual requirement.
• Open to learn and work with multiple data sources besides SAP.
• Support when needed in gathering business requirements and building functional specification documents.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, developers to ensure clear understanding and translation of functional and data requirements.
• Pre-qualifies and prioritizes change requests, escalates changes that should be projected to the functional analyst, Project Manager team.
• Liaison between users and technical team.
• Expert on integrations with SD to other modules.
• Output determination for sales orders, Delivery and Billing
• Experience in Implementations, Rollouts, Upgrades, Production Support
• Delivering SD function/testing design review, configuration testing strategy and cutover strategies.
• Create training collaterals, conduct training for users when needed.
• Identifying potential threats and informing all concerned parties in a timely manner
• Support with domain business process knowledge in Order to Cash/ Transportation Logistics processes.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate or postgraduate in B.Tech, IT or MCA
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Ability to deliver high quality and reliable software by collaborating with a team. Outstanding analytical skills, ability to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing demonstrations including issues, status reports and resolving impediments.
