Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Finance Analyst
In this role, the resource will be directly working with the client in US and will be collaborating with ELT leaders for contract renewals and maintaining records etc
Responsibilities
• Assist in contract renewals:
o Load SharePoint with 90-day renewals and populate previous spend and contract information.
o Update and organize a SharePoint repository with the latest documents and contracts.
o Create SharePoint list IDs for new requests and track them effectively.
o Use BusOps Checklist for requirement gathering and documentation. Make sure it is updated for all renewals.
• Sourcing and Procurement:
o Create ticket for any requests needing PR/PO.
o Collaborate with Sourcing and Procurement to capture auto-renewal and termination clause dates.
o Request/track executed SOWs from Sourcing and update them on SharePoint Library and SharePoint.
• Invoice and Payment Management:
o Research invoices for payments/issues in Oracle.
• File system organization:
o Update and organize SP Repository, Teams Channel File library, and SharePoint list attachments for all requests.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
o Review and update Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) statuses.
o Monitor the status of open PF tickets and update SharePoint records.
o Update reports as needed.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. OR
• MBA or B.com with relevant Financial background.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment
• Have excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
• Be self-driven and motivated.
• Strong in Excel skills with experience maintaining complex workbooks in a collaborative environment like Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Understand finance and purchasing practices, including budgeting/forecasting, capex/opex, lease/finance, procure-to-pay(P2P), and contractual requirements and reporting.
• Be a detail oriented and strategic thinker who enjoys working collaboratively.
• Like resolving issues and finding the right solution.
• Be willing to work flexible hours that include at least four (4) hours of overlap with the US Central Time Zone working hours of 8 am – 5 pm. (UTC-5/UTC-6, depending on the time of year)
• Our organization collaborates digitally from locations across the US and India using Zoom, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. We have some recurring work, but many tasks are spontaneous, based on the needs of the vendors and business stakeholders. Your job will not be static, giving you the opportunity to grow and learn new skills.
• Good to have any certifications on Microsoft excel or SharePoint
