What Will You Be Doing?
As a Principal Consultant for Safety Coaching, your main responsibilities include:
Support and Advise Managers: Provide guidance on health and safety matters, helping managers understand and fulfill their responsibilities.
Performance and Cultural Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance health and safety practices, promote a culture of safety, and deliver training programs and workshops.
Coaching and Engagement: Develop strong relationships with managers and employees, offering personalized coaching and fostering a proactive health and safety approach.
Diagnostics and Risk Assessments: Perform on-site diagnostics, identify risks, conduct hazard assessments, and support the development of preventive measures.
Policy Review and Client Support: Regularly update safety policies to meet best practices and legal requirements, and provide expert advice to clients.
Client Interaction: Travel regularly to client locations to ensure effective implementation of safety programs.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Has a university degree in Health & Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Is fluent in English and Dutch (both written and oral).
Brings over 10 years of experience in Health & Safety, with a focus on coaching and cultural change.
Possesses a deep understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
Has the ability to build strong relationships and engage effectively with employees at all levels.
Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and health and safety management software.
Is proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized and capable of working independently and as part of a team
Is committed to continuous learning and professional development
