Job responsibilities
Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional architecture objectives Sets strategy for cultivating skills in cybersecurity architects Accountable for decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures Carries governance accountability for cybersecurity coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations Develops the function’s objectives and accountable for outcomes Accountable for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, and prioritizes diverse representationRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering* concepts and 10+ years applied experience Experience running teams of architects that design cybersecurity solutions operations on cloud-based platforms and applications Experience building cybersecurity products and solutions for public cloud-based applications and infrastructure Advanced knowledge of secure software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins), version control tools (BitBucket, Git), managing and tracking work using management tools like Jira Programming experiences in one or more languages (C/C++, Java, Python, .NET, etc.) Experience developing and leading cross-functional teams of technologists Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product ManagerPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) products (i.e. Wiz, Prisma Cloud, CloudGuard, Orca Security, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security, MS Defender…) Accreditation/Certifications: AWS Certified Practitioner/Cloud Engineer/Software Development Engineer/Cloud Security Engineer/Cloud Security Architect/Application Architect Google Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) CISSP
