Job Summary:
Provide Program Management support for Digital Platform projects. Includes responsibility for planning, prioritization, and monitoring delivery of new platform content.
What you will do:
The Program Manager is accountable for ensuring successful completion of projects, on-time, within budget, and error-free. The principal responsibility of the Program Manager is to manage the planning and execution of project team members. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the project charter, communications, metrics, reporting, and the overall project plan and budget.
What you will have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.Consideration for top candidate:
10+ years of direct project management experience working with software engineering teams in an agile environmentExcellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.PMP certification preferred Working knowledge of Confluence Working knowledge of MS Azure DevOpsAdvance knowledge of Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS ProjectKnowledge of Power BI is highly desirableSummary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
