Principal DTCO engineer: Block level PPA - TPG

In this position, you will be working in a Design Technology Co-Optimization group. Your work will entail close collaboration with product design teams, pathfinding design teams and technology teams, with the goal of guiding design and technology choices for the next DRAM nodes!

In this position, you will work within an R&D environment, enabling future ground breaking memory products. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

Developing and iterating standard cell architecture solutions through block level Power-Performance-Area (PPA) analysis

Setting up and using RTL to GDS flow for PPA analysis

Providing actionable feedback to technology and design rule teams to help reach block level PPA goals

Block level testing of final standard cell libraries before release

Qualifications:

BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields

5 years experience in semiconductor Design-Technology-Co-Optimization

Experience with RTL to GDS flow for technology development

Track record of Si technology understanding and of innovation in the DTCO space

Scripting and automation skills using Tcl/Perl/Python  

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts in verbal and written form
