Your Role
This is an opportunity for a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to play a crucial role in the design of next generation tire inflation products and the continued scale-up of the Halotm Connect and related products. You will assume a lead role on an agile team of product design engineers, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers and other business stakeholders and functions and be responsible for the architecture, design, integration, validation, and release of embedded electronic assemblies for use in automotive systems. This role requires an individual who has deep expertise from the moment an idea crystalizes to when it is in mass production.
Your Responsibilities
Ideate on unique and novel solutions for problems in the automotive space. Create and refine system and product requirements with adjacent engineering and business disciplines. Architect embedded automotive systems that utilize a wide range of technologies. Formulate and execute on design and validation strategies for complex electromechanical systems. Weigh tradeoffs between performance, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and supply chain. Lead and participate in hands-on activities of design simulation, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, board bring up, debug, and validation including reliability, EMC, and RF certification testing. Mentor and collaborate with less experienced engineers when needed to ensure fostering a growth and development team environment. Lead engineering change management efforts in Arena PLM, following Aperia best practices & policies.Skills/Qualifications
