Job Description

KLA is looking for a Principal Electron-Optics Research Scientist in our Chief Technology Office in Milpitas, CA!

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in Electron Optics including Optical System design; Lens Design; and Tolerance Analysis of Complex Optical SystemsExtensive knowledge of high voltage electronicsExtensive knowledge in surface science of electron-surface interactionsExtensive knowledge in design and modelling of ultra-high vacuum systemsDevelop and/or provide significant input to the top-level system specifications, sub-system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware solutionStay up to date on related external research and developmentsCollaborate with CTO team to develop new suppliers and research partners when appropriateAbility to work in a clean room environmentAbility to travel up to 10%

The Position is located in the U.S., must be willing to relocate to Milpitas, CA.

The Salary range for this position is between 198500 USD - 347,400 USD

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 15 years
