What You Will Do:

The Hot Section Engineering, Support-to-Operations team is looking for self-motivated engineers in challenging Lead positions. An Integrated Product Team Lead functions as the primary point of contact and leader for an integrated, multi-discipline group to maintain consistent work priorities within the team. The position demands coordinated communication and strengthened working relationships with suppliers and across Module Center organizations to ensure that component hardware deliveries are met.

Management of team resources and task execution plans for producibility improvement tasks, QN, SDO, and Class 2 Engineering Change activities are crucial to the success of the organization. 

Utilize both CORE and DMAIC tools to bring quality and delivery improvements to our internal and external supply base.

Create Engineering and Manufacturing process improvement business cases and task recommendations based on cost, quality, and delivery issues.

Develop and maintain discipline health within team.

Collaborate with Procurement to ensure suitable WIP and stable delivery to MRP.

Develop a shared vision for strategic, Program read across.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of Engineering experience, or

An Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years of Engineering experience

US Citizenship or US Person due to government contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

BS Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Project Engineering experience preferred.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

This position is open to internal applicants only within Pratt & Whitney.  To help sure up our military programs, we are looking to reallocate resources to USG direct charging roles and therefore consider this to be an internal to Pratt movement.  We may look to open these opportunities upon more broadly once we complete the initial Pratt talent moves.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
