Raytheon Intelligence and Space is the leading provider of Electronic Warfare Systems for Space and Airborne Platforms. This position is for a System Test Engineer who will support Department 22 by providing engineering leadership to Systems Engineering Integration & Test teams as part of the Advanced Electronic Warfare product line. With over 150 active programs within Department 22, there are multiple opportunities, not only for career growth, but also to create innovative Systems Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for the business unit.

Responsibilities:

Generate test plans/procedures for assessing EW system performanceGenerate test documentation for verification/acceptance of components, subsystems, and systemsArchitect test configurations for exercising the Unit Under Test in both lab and field environmentsCollaborate with other disciplines to develop Special Test Equipment for Subsystems/Systems Integration and TestPlan IV&V activitiesExecute IV&V activities as the technical lead for multidisciplinary Integration and Test teamsExecute in-house and off-site test activities for system demonstrations and/or system sell-offBrief senior program management and engineering leadership

Required Skills: 

Minimum of 8 years of systems engineering, integration, and test experienceExperience with EW/Radar systems integration, verification, and validationExperience planning, managing, and leading execution of systems integration, verification, and validation activitiesExperience preparing system/subsystem test documentation (e.g., plans, procedures, and reports)Experience setting up System Integration LabsExperience developing test configurations for component or subsystem checkout and verificationExperience preparing and presenting reports/briefingsMust be a U.S. Citizen with Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret ClearanceU.S. Citizenship and ability to access to US only data systems

Desired Skills: 

Minimum of 8 years of EW/Radar systems engineering integration and test experienceExperience writing requirements for EW/Radar system test eventsExperience leading system test equipment and special test equipment development activitiesExperience troubleshooting, testing, and integrating EW/Radar system test equipmentExperience modeling the performance of system test equipmentExperience modeling the performance of EW/Radar systemsExperience with millimeter and microwave RF at both the system and module levelsExperience with integration of mixed signal modules into the next higher assemblyExperience with security requirements related to government testingExperience with Earned Value Management / Cost Account ManagementExperience with requirements tracking tools such as DOORSActive DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years

 Required Education (including major):

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline

Desired Education (including major):

Master’s / Ph.D. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
