Seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to contribute towards the development of Flexera’s Cloud Cost Optimization solution. You will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of the product features. Should be flexible to learn new technologies and contribute in different areas of product and software engineering cycle as needed.
You'll be expected to have:
B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology.14 Plus years of software development experience.Extensive experience in developing complex, cloud-based microservice applications using Golang, React, Redis, Databricks, MongoDB, SQL, Microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes, Amazon EC2/S3/EKS/Kinesis or other cloud services, and Data Lake technologies.Experience designing and delivering cloud native, microservices based applications and cloud-native solutions, including experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform. Should be able to talk to sales prospects regarding questions on product features that require Engineering expertise to answer.Development of new product features and enhancement, including requirement analysis, design, coding, reviews and unit testing.Collaboration with other teams such as Product Management. quality assurance, database administrators, documentation engineers, support teams and customer success teams for effective delivery of product.Effective handling and follow up of different customer escalations.Superb communication skills to work effectively within and across teams, including mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Strong problem-solving skillsAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plusWhat you'll do:
Actively participate in an agile software development life cycle, including decomposing requirements, documenting and discussing the design, estimation, and implementation. Design and implement cloud-based software applications with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security. Lead the technical roadmap for the Cloud Cost Optimization product line. Prototype new solutions, contribute to code reviews and analysis of issues, primarily in Go in Kubernetes in Azure. Collaborate with the Architecture team, Lead engineers, and product management to develop technology strategy and architecture for current and future products.Lead and participate in architecture discussions, generating recommendations that align with the business goals and technology strategy. Engage in rapid prototyping and pair programming to validate concepts and refine solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers and Cloud Operations, to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Improve Security, Performance, Scalability and Reliability of the product: Systematically analyse deficiencies in the product with respect to performance, scalability and reliability and work on solutions to improve them.Analysis and resolution of customer bugs: Analyse and Triage customer issues, debug and fix these issues, provide workarounds and solutions for these.Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for architectural designs, coding guidelines, and best practices.Flexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
